Silks Place Tainan partnered with the Tainan Magistrate Residence, built in 1900, to operate its restaurant under the brand "T-BAR." Embracing the culinary renaissance spirit, the hotel offered a new gastronomic experience within this century-old residence. Through themed banquets and guided tours focused on Crown Prince Hirohito of Japan, who stayed overnight in 1923, the hotel supports cultural preservation and the revitalization of historical sites.

Wellspring by Silks' Artist-in-Residence Program Promotes Yilan's Local Culture

Since 2017, Wellspring by Silks has run an artist-in-residence program, spotlighting local elements to showcase Yilan's beauty and cultural charm through various art forms. In summer 2021, our resident artist, textile artist Yan-Wei Tseng, used discarded fabrics from local hotels and Taiwanese-made sewing threads to sculpt unique doll souvenirs. These creations, featuring lines and shapes, offer visitors unforgettable memories to take home.
