In 2023, Regent Taipei joined the EarthCheck Certification Program, becoming the first member of this global sustainable tourism certification organization in Taiwan. The hotel has demonstrated proactive actions in 10 key assessment areas, including greenhouse gas emissions, energy efficiency and management, and socio-cultural management, aligning with international certification standards.

Silks Place Taroko has launched local experience half-day tours and hiking tours at Baiyang Trail and Buluowan Suspension Bridge. To deeply promote the cultural and natural ecology of the national park, the hotel has trained professional storytellers and tour guides, allowing travelers to appreciate the unique culture and features.

Silks Place Tainan received the “GTS Green Travel Seal Two-Star Certification,” an international recognition that affirms the efforts of all hotel staff. The GTS (Green Travel Seal) audit includes comprehensive aspects such as dining, accommodation, energy, service, and local cultural heritage. Through an integrated system and collective contributions, the hotel implements core sustainable values across various areas such as food, clothing, housing, transportation, education, and entertainment.

Since 2017, Wellspring by Silks Jiaoxi has launched an artist-in-residence program, where artists focus on local elements to present the beauty and cultural charm of the area in diverse forms. For example, in the summer of 2021, textile artist Yen-Yu, Tseng used discarded fabric from Wellspring by Silks Jiaoxi, combined with Taiwan-made sewing threads, to sculpt unique dolls, creating memorable souvenirs for guests.
